My mate got it early and said it was the damned same as CoD 3, but that's not surprising seeing as Treyarch can't program for shit.

What is also ironic is that Treyarch even admitted this, kinda. In an interview detailing the 007 Quantum Of Solace game they specifically said "What is different between this game and Call of Duty 4 is that this game has the undenying presence of James Bond"

Dogs are more overpowered then the fucking Heli.

After you die, you can just sit in a corner and call them in. And every 5 or so seconds you'll see "+5......+5......+5.......+5.......+5" eventually you'll get artillery, hell you might even get another set of dogs...

Those dogs are fucking broken... BROKEN I TELL YOU.

Sure, COD5 has issues. For example, the map that begins with M always runs like shit for me when I aim across it, fucks me right off.

But on the whole, it's actually good.

Grenades are no longer god-tier, revive has finally been put in, I love attack dogs 12 times more than helicopters, dunno' what it's like on 360 but on PC it's far easier to aim at a moving target.

Reviving topic, but better than making another on the same subject.


I just purchased CoD: WaW for my PS3 today. I'd been watching it for a while and was expecting some decent gameplay, i tried to set the fact that Treyarch developed it aside. After downloading the patch, i played through the single player campaign for a bit, i found it fun, although the HP seems fucked and the AI just seems, worse than even it's predecessor, CoD4.

I then hopped into MP and played for a bit in the "Boot Camp" game mode which is restricted to new players. It was fun, especially with WW2 weaponry and Tanks... All in all it *is* a fun game, though it just seems like CoD4 set in WW2 with worse AI and a few tweaks.
