GODZ were kind of the "main" active clan when i started, with their 20 man server and all, definately an important clan in the stretched-survival of the game i would say, even though auggers wont admit it, 0 aug clans clearly worked alot harder in keeping things fun and active from 2005 onwards.

JTB pretty much presented the cheese and crackers of 0 augs in 2002 but it didn't take till 03. GODZ definitely kept population up but irrelevant players. If you fill a water balloon with more air than water then deflate the air there is still the same amount of tangible consistency on how it will burst.

Another cool clan in in DXMP:

DCSB. They ditched DX about four or five years ago but they were pretty decent with a lot of cool greats I thought I'd never see again.

Heat was in DCSB. Most of you probably don't remember him, I don't know what clans he's been in before if any... maybe (CG).

They also had Amigo, he was their best member in DX I think, aside from Gaz maybe. Them and Sereph were awesome for their time.

Amigo was great, Gaz was good too but it was always between Amigo and Reef for me. Reef was a ballin' player in his hayday.

Oh Reef, he was arguably one of the chillest pimps among them. Sereph and Amigo were definitely the clan's best, though. Reef and Ferdvds were around the same skill when I played them.

The only member I remember being able to slap around was UnderWorld. Another cool chap, but skillswise was like the Vor[T]ell of DCSB.

They got some rule to "Let newbies a chance" and if you keep killing, you get banned for not giving them the chance, I mean heck its a game, they won't even switch to make the game fair, I switch, they switch with me too, lots of stuff happen :/

He talks about zero aug clans in a certain period of time where a game was still about fun and did not have whining bitches or people who'd hack you when you disagree with them. Augged games were also about fun in that time. He talks about a few years back where there weren't guys like you who clearly don't read people's post too good.

Looking at the context of my writing Alex is right. I prefer Aug games since its more competitive, but when those clans existed at that time, zero aug games were fun compared to the zero aug games of 06-08 where it was about who could duck the fastest.

I could probably enter a server with a couple of players from a while back and just mess around with DTS, knives, and darts and still be one of the top player with the most kills and least deaths.

You probably wouldn't see me in an Non augged server unless I wanted to mess around with low tech weapons stated above. Suicide clan was exactly what it reads out as and most of them were pretty organized and funny. What made this period fun was that players didn't care if one map you go 45-2 and then go 12-39.
