I just I'd poke my question in this topic instead of creating a new topic.

I wanna buy a new headset that's decent so people can actually hear me, because the one I have now is fucking shit I think, I've lose the bobble on the mic so it sounds like I'm spitting in the mic when I talk etc.

I don't have a high budget, I'm looking for something cheapish and cheerful. Oh and by cheap I mean nothing that's like £40

Suggestions anyone?

There's probably some hacked L4D client and some hacked servers around, but they are most likely empty / laggy / overmodded / lacking proper cheat protection.. so I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Was playing expert a week ago, and some dude just kept on randomly team killing the rest of us. Turns out he also managed to solo his way through a panic event, I left soon after since it was boring.

By the way, anyone needing a quick, cheap mic solution, plug in an old pair of headphones, and talk into the speakers.

Impossible as it seems, it works.
