Recovering formatted HDD

Postby Allan » Mon Sep 21, 09 3:31 pm

Does anyone know how I can recover the data from the HDD I just had to format:

I've got two in my laptop, and I need all the stuff off the other one. So... does anyone know of any programs to restore my lost files with?

What kind of format did you do?

& Did you use the HDD afterwards or did you just keep it there untouched?

I reformatted it using my system recovery disc, as it required both HDDs in to work, even though the second one (the one w/ the important data) doesn't have anything written during the operation.

Also: No, the HDD hasn't been used since.

Did it give you the choice to do a quick or full format? If so, what did you pick?

No option, it was just the option of various types of RAID. I chose not to use it at all, and have 2 seperate drives.

It worked. I now has my dodgey games, my first seasons of Pokemon, and my Rock Band custom.
