on hl i use 1024X768 with d3d and it runs with no problems at all, and my computer sucks, although i used a resolution patch to change it to anything u want it broke meh pc! :evil:

lol my monitor was saying 'resolution set too high' and there was no way to change it back the monitor was being a gay boy knowing i couldnt change it back although all i had to do was go into safe mode and change it back -_-

my frend had DX running on 800x600 and was taking this piss of the bad graphics

i went on Remote Assistance and turned it up 2 max resolution on his PC (1024xsumfin)

he died of amazement

btw, the facial graphics on DX are still rather good

800x600 - it actually increases the head column, meaning that it is like ALOT easier to snipe people in the head, cos there is a bigger area u can hit
