anyway

the thing that maks HL so amazin, i meant he gameplay, is the fact that the AI has patters, u know, the marines, they are predictable, but they could do something from a choice of about 10 options

think

in DX... a guard sees you
he runs at you and shoots you until either you or him die

in HalfLife
a marine sees you, he throws a grenade, hides, pairs with another marine, covertly moves up the stairs towards you, fires a clip, runs away to reload, lobs another grenade

and so on, in a pattern

Nein, one: you fight a tank and a helicopter in DMC2, you fight it in NG, 2, the main character gets skills from magic items, Ommuisha done that beforehand then DMC.
