Thats where you are wrong.

System Shock 1 Failed horibbly. But its predecessor (system shock 2) owned so much

Its skills/weapons upgrade/abilities upgrade was so much more in depth.

to have a star quality class game you need to have the little things

eg

Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time

seeing a doodle, of a Link lookalike battling what looks like a T-Rex underneath a Gem, at the base of your Forest Home

moments and things like that make a class game, and DX, FF7 and TLOZ:OOT all had those

just FF7 had the most!

lol, me and my friend were actually in semi-shock when we completed it

we completed it on the same day, and i foned him when i finished it, and he said he had done about an hour back

twas a brilliant game

took up half my childhood hunched over a game boy

lol, i could pick it up now and play it thru to the end
(level 7: eagle's tower.... owf that was a HUGE puzzle of a level)
