(This can also be applied to gas / emp grenades.)
What is a lambug, I hear you ask? well, it's getting more than one lam out of a single one. Usually this is stuck on the wall, although i have managed a thrown lambug once.
How to:
The way to bug a lam effectively is; as soon as it is placed, make sure your crosshair is moved away (so the lam is not highlighted) as soon as possible.
Techniques:
- Press upto the wall, crouch (optional), click fire really fast and as soon as you fire, move away (strafe right/left) or move the mouse away (or a combination of both), and keep on clicking.
- Same as previous technique, but instead of clicking repeatedly, hold down the mouse instead. (This has never worked for me, but i have seen people be successful with this technique.)
Enhancements
- A very simple bind can sometimes increase the success of a lambug. (used instead of the fire button on the clicking technique)
NumPad0=Fire|onrealease Fire
- Ping: i find that the best ping for a lambug is anywhere between 100-180. Nothing laggy, but not entirely lag free.
2. The Lagout
So you're all alone and a team of 5 is coming towards you? what do you do? run - pussy, attack in the hope of making a few kills - not worth it. The only solution is: hit the lag.
This is a simple bind, created by me, so be sure to give me credit:

sadly, any MTL server will kick you for this, but luckily there are some non-mtl, and even non-mtl-based servers still around.
Feel free to add any more "alternative techniques".
