its never had a real 'scare'.
cataclyzm wrote:There was this one time, in Dx, when it was down. Some hacker noob shut down the master server, but then it reopened a week later, he was caught.
Dunno if that's much of a 'scare'.
Allan wrote:Lol, not suure if you would call this a scare as such, but whenever i hosted my EvilLab map, within 10 minutes i would seem to have 8 ppl on it(Max was 11), so i guess dx community loved my map, and threw everything else aside for like a week and a half... it was kinda funny

Thats about it, the gamespy downs were of no concern because it was obvious it would get fixed rapidly.
Ofcourse, thats if you dont count noaug, which really is the only reason DX sucks these days I'm sure.
Ste wrote:The only reason why DXMP sucks these days is because as the monkster said, its because of 0 aug. The learning curve in DX is so steep that nobody gives it a chance beacuse the only people who go into a aug server are those looking for a good skilled scrap. Going on what Mole said which is totally true, non skillers arent given 1 chance in hell. The auggers just tramp on them.
If it wasnt for monkee putting up with me and my stress i can safely say i wouldnt be 50% of were i am today. He taught me so damn much and he cannot be slated for doing that!
I hold my hat upto him. Ive always looked upto him in DXMP.
I think DXMP would THRIVE if more did what monkee does.
