It was good for its time

Pokemon games are the best! Can't get enough of them.

A complete copy of the game will cost gamers somewhere between $426.50 and $975, and that's without factoring in whatever Sony decides to charge for the menus (since that's all you'll get with GT HD: Classic).

Wii ripped of the PS2. How? It's controller. The whole motion thing is simply the next step in a tech the PS2 has, and which Microsoft ripped - pressure sensitive buttons.
Feel free to disagree.
XII//:Prod1gy wrote:No, they swapped them because it makes sense. the D-Pad is mainly used in games to either
A) Open a "Quick-menu"
B) Hide your gun.
C) Change weapon.
Its there because Its quicker to move your thumb down and then up again.
XII//:Prod1gy wrote:Yep. I disagree. You cannot RIP-OFF something that hasn't even been done yet. That doesn't make sense. Explain to me how it is possibly related to pressure-sensitive buttons (Which I do agree X360 stole.. Kind of.) and I will give you a cookie or whatever.
Analog sticks? Those we'rent ripped. Those were common sense.
Shoulder buttons? Ripped.
Start\Select? Ripped.
"6 Degrees of Motion"? OBVIOUSLY ripped.

Their exclusivity deals are a ticking time bomb. Once GT and MGS are gone, Sony are screwed.
This, I find piss funny.
The GT crew have launched 6 [from memory] succesful titles on the Playstation's. What on earth makes you think they have any reason to doubt the PS3? Not to mention the contract Sony no doubt has giving them their souls should they sell out.
MGS is pretty much the same, but they have about 4 [again from memory] across the Playstation's.
Far too many people are biting at the rumour mill that is cranking up now the PS3 is getting close.
Yes. Yes you do. What happens if the tap leaks -- Plug in the PS3! PS3 to the rescue!XII//:Prod1gy wrote:This, I find piss funny.

You basically elaborated on what I said. If the creators of GT or MGS (Although you can buy MGS 1 and 2(Substance) For PC.) decided to branch out to the other consoles where those two genres are distinctly lacking, I, and so would alot of people, have no reason to purchase a playstation 3. Yes fine, I can plug it into my kitchen sink and have it regulate my water flow, but do I REALLY NEED THAT?

Looking at the Wii now, I can't actually see any reason for me to buy one... It has virtually no brand names that can sell the console, and any it does have, I lost interest in when the N64 died.
The Wii controller does look very fiddly though... not to mention the flat style on the other controller.. it worked on the SNES well enough, but the Wii isn't the SNES...
Antechrist wrote:Ahh I think that was an old plan of theirs until they woke the fuck up. Yeh about that 1080p thing, Sony are being children about that, stupid ones that can't read. MS said that there will be an update so that old games can be resized to play at 1080p and that new games can support real 1080p and Sony said "resizing doesn't make it true 1080p :]". They're backing the wrong disc format for this gen and I think they're finally realising it.
